It’s that time of year when everyone starts to feel the sap rise and we want to get out and active after the long winter of short days. Whether it is getting out into the garden, running, cycling, walking, tennis….we all tend to throw ourselves back into these activities after a period of being sedentary. Obviously it’s fantastic to be active, but we need to be mindful that we don’t overdo it and cause injury. We tend to see an influx of people at this time of year who have been a bit keen to get the garden sorted in one, or inspired by the recent better evenings to get out running after having had a winter or rest.
So if you are about to dust the trainers off and get going with exercise please remember to build your fitness up gradually. If you have any old injuries that may be aggravated or caused a new injury, consult a chiropractor. You can do this at any of our clinics for £5… the chiropractor can discuss your problem, offer advice and if it’s something that the chiropractor thinks may require treatment we can then book you in for a full diagnosis and treatment.
